We try and keep out costs as low as possible at Clinical Psychology Victoria. We believe that quality private psychological services should not only be available to those who can afford it.

When we commenced in private practice, we were very proud to offer bulk billing services to all clients with the appropriate referral. However, due to our expenses rising quicker than our income, we have regretfully decided to ask for a gap payment. Our standard fee is now $180 (clinical psychologist) or $140 (psychologist – clinical registrar). This is required to be paid in full at the end of your session. We are able to offer almost immediate medicare rebates (where eligible) through our EFTPOS system ($126.50 – clinical psychologist; $86.15 – clinical registrar) paid directly into a bank account. We are able to take cash, EFTPOS or major credit cards. Hence, the gap you are asked to pay is $53.50 (clinical psychologist) or $53.85 (clinical registrar) for a standard 50 minute appointment.

We do ask a cancellation/non-attendance fee of $50 be paid if less than 24 hours notice is given for the cancellation of a session or if you fail to attend. We ask this to be paid prior to your next appointment.

We also provide services for most other funding bodies like Department of Human Services, Department of Justice, Victims of Crime, WorkCover, TAC, NDIS, etc. Ask us about these funding bodies.
